The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a Central Sector Scheme of Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports. The sole aim of the NSS is to provide hands on experience to young students in delivering community service. Colleges and Institutions of higher learning have volunteered to take part in various community service programmes. SSS Degree College Bukkapatnam-515144 having a NSS Unit which contins 100 Volunteers from various courses. The overall aim of National Service Scheme as envisaged earlier, is to give an extension dimension to the Students and orient the student youth to community service while they are studying in educational institution.
